Content Development Policy

ICTCP® assures that the program content and program level is appropriate for the intended participants. The knowledge level of each course is specified so that participants can determine if the program is appropriate for their development needs, and advance preparation, if any, is noted.

Our Nano Learning Lessons are all at a program knowledge level of basic; therefore, no prerequisite education/experience or advance preparation is required for them.

Courses are developed by individuals or teams having expertise in the subject matter. Expertise may be demonstrated through practical experience and/or education.

Programs are reviewed by qualified persons other than those who developed the programs. These reviews occur before the first presentation of the materials and again after each significant revision of the program.

All programs contain relevant learning objectives and outcomes that clearly articulate the professional competence that should be achieved by the participants upon completion of the program.

Course Update Policy

Courses in subjects that undergo frequent changes will be reviewed by a subject matter expert at least once a year. Other courses will be reviewed every 2 years.

Record Retention Policy

In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, the following are retained for a period of at least 5 years:

  • Records of participation
  • Dates of program offerings
  • Author/instructor, author/developer and reviewer names and credentials
  • Number of CPE credits earned by participants
  • Results of program evaluations
  • Program descriptive materials (course announcement information)

Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued for courses that have not been started and have not expired. No refunds will be issued for courses that are in progress, have been completed, or have expired.

For Nano Learning Lessons, refunds are issued by returning the Nano Points that have been deducted from the Nano Points balance of the subscriber when registering for the course(s) to be refunded.

Program Cancellation Policy

If ICTCP® decides to cancel a program, this will be announced on the website at least one month before the actual cancellation. Upon cancellation, it will no longer be possible to register for the program; however, subscribers who had previously registered for the program will still be able to complete it.

Registration Policy

To register for and access materials (including, but not limited to, courses, webinars, and exams) and, where applicable, earn CPE credit, participants must first create an account on this website.

In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, participants must complete each Nano Learning Lesson by correctly answering all questions in the assessment at the end of that lesson within one (1) year of purchase to earn CPE credit for that lesson; after one (1) year, access to the lesson will expire.

Complaint Resolution Policy

All disputes arising out of or in connection with our Agreement shall first be attempted to be settled through consultation and negotiation in good faith and a spirit of mutual cooperation. If an outcome that is acceptable for both parties cannot be reached, an appeal can be filed with an independent third party whose decision will be binding for both parties:

Benito Boer, LLM is a partner with Alt Kam Boer advocaten, a Law Firm in The Hague, specialised in Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Administrative Law, Company Law and Supreme Court appeals.

There is a €100 fee to file such an appeal, reimbursed in full if the case is decided in favor of the plaintiff (but not if the claim is determined to be unfounded).
