Get Certified. Get Hired. Get Ahead.
The CFSD Certified Full-Stack Developer® credential shows employers you can design, build, and connect a complete application — front end, back end, and database — not just one piece of it. In a market where AI writes fragments of code but still needs a human who understands the whole system, this is the credential that proves you’re that person.
Why certify
Full-stack ability is now the baseline expectation, not a bonus — and employers are actively filtering for it. Over 71% of hiring managers say they specifically value candidates with credentials spanning both front-end and back-end technologies, not just isolated coding skills. Certified developers report starting salaries 18–23% higher on average than non-certified peers, and 68% of hiring managers say they’re more likely to interview a candidate who presents a reputable credential.
Stand out immediately: 72% of hiring managers still weigh real project experience heavily, and a certification backed by applied assessment shows you’ve done the work, not just watched tutorials
Skip the resume pile: recognizable, verifiable credentials help you clear automated screening filters before a human ever sees your application
Negotiate with confidence: a named, verifiable certification gives you concrete proof to justify a stronger starting offer
What you’ll prove
This certification validates your ability to build a complete, working application from the ground up — the exact scope employers expect from a full-stack hire.
Front-end development: build responsive, accessible interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Back-end logic: write server-side code that powers real functionality
Database integration: design, query, and connect data with SQL
End-to-end thinking: architect how all three layers work together in a real, deployed application
Unlike single-skill badges, this credential tells employers you understand how an entire system fits together — the judgement that AI tools can’t replace.
Built for how people actually learn today
Whether you’re self-taught, a boot camp graduate, a career switcher, or finishing a degree, this certification meets you where you are.
Take it online, anytime — no test centres, no travel
Scenario-based assessment, not just multiple-choice trivia, so the credential actually reflects real-world judgement
Instant, automated results so you’re not waiting weeks to move forward
Add a verifiable digital badge to LinkedIn, your resume, and your portfolio the moment you pass
Proof that matters to employers
This isn’t a course-completion badge — it’s a proctored, standards-based exam built around applied, scenario-driven questions, the same rigor employers expect from established, third-party-verified credentials. It tells hiring managers one clear thing: this candidate can build and reason across the entire stack, not just complete a checklist.
Your next role is waiting on proof, not promises. Certify your full-stack skills today and show employers exactly what you can build!
The CFSD Certified Full-Stack Developer® program has been registered with SPEN, the Dutch Foundation for Permanent Education (in the register, search for “CFSD”), and diplomas are awarded by Centrum Post Initieel Onderwijs Nederland (CPION), an independent government-recognized organization that assesses and registers post-initial and continuing education courses.
To earn the diploma, you must pass the following exams:
An exam bundle containing one (1) attempt for each of the four exams cost €149. (Should you not pass one or more exams, you can purchase additional exam attempts; these cost €49 each.)
Exams are administered online using camera proctoring; our Examination Regulations apply.
Please note that, once you have passed the four required exams and wish to obtain the CFSD® diploma, a separate payment of €99 is due; this will cover the fee charged by CPION.
Unlike other providers, we do not charge an additional “Annual Maintenance Fee” to keep your certification(s) and diploma(s) in good standing. However, we do require that you keep your knowledge current by obtaining at least 20 CPE/CPD hours per year.
