The Certified Chief Information Security Officer – CCISO® program has been registered with SPEN, the Dutch Foundation for Permanent Education (in the register, search for “CCISO”), and diplomas are awarded by Centrum Post Initieel Onderwijs Nederland (CPION), an independent government-recognized organization that assesses and registers post-initial and continuing education courses.
To obtain the diploma, you must first obtain the CDPP® diploma.
Next, you must pass the following exams and obtain the associated certificates:
- Cloud Computing Advanced
- Cybersecurity Analysis
- Information Security Management Professional
- Linux
- Networking
- Penetration Testing
- Privacy and Data Protection Professional
- Project Management
Exams are administered online using a special lock-down browser and camera proctoring; our Examination Regulations apply.
The program has an estimated total learning effort of 600 hours. You can study the topics in any order. No specific prior knowledge is expected of candidates; however, they should have experience using computers, and they must have a command of English at least at CEFR level B2. Candidates are preferably qualified at EQF level 5 or above, but this is not a formal requirement.
Please note that, once you have passed the required exams and wish to obtain the CCISO® diploma, a separate payment of €199 is due; this will cover the fee charged by CPION.
Unlike other providers, we do not charge an additional “Annual Maintenance Fee” to keep your certificate(s) and diploma(s) in good standing. However, we do require that you keep your knowledge current by obtaining at least 20 CPE/CPD hours per year. Therefore, as a NASBA Approved provider, we include up to 20 hours’ worth of CPE/CPD in your paid site subscription (but not in the free first-year trial).
